Missy’s House of Misfits is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Murrieta, California, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, or mistreated. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to offer every dog the chance to find a loving, forever home where they can thrive, be safe, and feel valued.

Founded with the belief that no dog should be left behind, we focus on transforming the lives of dogs who have been overlooked by society. Many of the dogs in our care come from difficult pasts—whether they’ve been abandoned on the streets, rescued from shelters, or saved from cases of abuse or neglect. Through a combination of medical care, emotional support, and a loving environment, we give these dogs a second chance at life.

At Missy’s House of Misfits, we are not just a rescue—our goal is to build a community where dogs are treated with the respect and kindness they deserve. Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, we aim to inspire others to join our mission, whether through adoption, fostering, volunteering, or supporting our cause.

Our vision is to create a world where every dog, regardless of their past, has the opportunity to be part of a family and live out the rest of their days in a loving, supportive environment. With the help of our generous donors, volunteers, and foster families, we continue to grow and make a meaningful impact in the lives of both the dogs we rescue and the people who adopt them.

Located at 26463 Arboretum Way Unit 3304, Murrieta, CA, we welcome anyone who is interested in learning more, getting involved, or adopting one of our beautiful misfits. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of so many deserving dogs.
